Parole Decisions

Listed below are the Virginia Parole Board’s monthly decisions as required by Virginia Code 53.1-136. In order to ensure proper notifications are made as required by Virginia Code, decisions are not posted until the end of the following month.

Monthly Decisions

Per the Code of Virginia § 53.1-136, the Virginia Parole Board is required to publish a statement regarding the action taken by the Board on the parole of prisoners. Though not mandated by statute, the Virginia Parole Board also provides additional available information regarding parole violation cases.

Annual Reports

Per the Code of Virginia § 53.1-136, the Virginia Parole Board is required to publish an annual report regarding the actions taken by the Board on the parole of prisoners during the prior year. Additionally, the Virginia Parole Board is required to publish an annual report regarding the final discharges issued by the Board during the previous year.
